ART EDUCATION FOR SCHOOLS

In order to reach new audiences and specific target groups and make the exhibition programme accessible to a wide audience, the Kunsthal regularly develops educational Look & Do tours and education guides. In 2017 we offered educational programmes to accompany the exhibitions ‘Hyperrealism. 50 Years of Painting’ and ‘Paul Delvaux. Master of the Dream’ to all levels of education.

For both exhibitions we set up a special KunsthalLAB where students and regular visitors were introduced to the painting techniques used in the exhibitions. The themes of both exhibitions were also explored in more depth. In collaboration with the SKVR there was a guided tour of ‘Paul Delvaux. Master of the Dream’ during which the students were shown the exhibition by art teachers and subsequently participated in an intensive workshop.
