ORGANISATION & STAFF
For a long time now, the Kunsthal’s organisation has consisted of a relatively small team. In order to make the organisation less vulnerable and increase its impact, for the past two years we have been reinforcing our staff in a number of crucial departments, especially marketing, finances and fundraising. The first results have shown an increase in our own revenues and improvements in the field of financial reports and processes.
To further enhance the continuity and effectiveness of ways to raise our own revenues, four staff members working in the fields of fundraising, sponsoring, friend recruitment, visitor journey and rentals were accommodated in a Development department at the end of 2017. At the beginning of 2018, we also recruited a new employee for producing the Palais des Festival programming.
Kunsthal as a work experience place for trainees
Our fundraising, education and communication staff are (and will be again in 2018) assisted by trainees from a variety of (university) courses. The security department collaborates with the ROC Albeda College, among others.
